Insurance Terms (Cleaner Declaration)
Last updated: 21 April 2026
CleanerPal is a booking platform, not an insurer. We do not underwrite, sell, or guarantee insurance cover. Any “Insured” badge reflects verification of documents you upload — it is not a policy issued by Cleaner Pal Ltd. You remain solely responsible for maintaining valid cover for your work.
Important: If you declare that you have insurance, you are making a legal declaration. The onus is entirely on you.
Cleaner Pal Ltd. (Companies House NI721429), Ground Floor, Gallery Building, 65-69 Dublin Rd, Belfast, BT2 7HG, Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland.
1. Your declaration
By accepting these Insurance Terms, you declare that you currently hold valid public liability insurance (or equivalent cover) for the cleaning services you provide through CleanerPal.
2. Badge display and evidence
An “Insured” badge on your public profile is shown only after CleanerPal has verified your uploaded certificate. Accepting these terms or declaring that you hold cover does not, by itself, display that badge.
You remain responsible for uploading documentary proof, keeping cover valid at all times, and notifying us if your policy lapses or changes materially.
3. Sole responsibility and liability
You are solely responsible for the truth and accuracy of your declaration. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanerPal is not liable for any loss, damage, claim, enforcement action, or dispute caused by false, inaccurate, expired, or missing insurance.
4. Breach consequences
If your declaration is false, misleading, or cannot be substantiated, CleanerPal may remove badges, restrict or suspend your account, cancel eligibility for bookings, and take any action available under the Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
5. Relationship with Terms and Conditions
These Insurance Terms form part of and are supplementary to the main Terms and Conditions. In the event of conflict, the stricter requirement applies.
By ticking the acceptance checkbox in your cleaner profile, you confirm that you have read and accept these Insurance Terms (version 2026-04-21).
